Hmm...

Recent reports from one of my planet named "Zenetic". There, 80% of the Zeneticans are scientists and astronomers. I have just received some scientific evidence that our SL is coming to an end soon...
Why?

Ever heard of the Big Bang theory? Where it is about how our Universe (SL) have started out as one point, where all the matters were concentrated. As it grows, the heat increased and finally exploded... I guess most of you heard about this... well then... ever heard of the possiblities of how the universe will end?

Reports from the Zenetican shown me that there are 2 possiblities...
1) The Big Crunch
2) The Dark Universe

1) The big crunch is the time when the universe would runs out of resources and stop expanding... whereas it would start heading inward... (SL might be running out of memory spaces from the server that Zygis have bought. Probably someday it would be a burden for him.. and he would just shut down the site.) But this... according to my reports, won't be happening in the near-future (probably 20 more rounds)

2) The dark universe... as the universe expands... again... resources would be sacred. Without having abundant of resources (good noobs) the universe would just be living like the way it is now until the Final End. By nothing left, it only leaves the Blackholes there sucking all the dead or inactive materials...(By having more noobs, including bad ones, inactive ones, etc. SL would be coming more and more boring. There won't be any challenges anymore and the older players would always keep their position. This someday might make people feel bored about the game and leave.)

in fact, SL universe is almost endless. There will be no problems with server memory space. Never. The server is capable to handle many times bigger universe and there is always possible to connect serveral servers. SL engine is smart enought to handle all data. If you are interested in limits, the limit of database table is 4TB ( ~4,000 GB = ~ 4,000,000 MB ). Currently average table is about ~50MB.
4,000,000 / 50 = 80,000... It can be 80,000 times bigger.

Coords, space for planets? 16,777,215^3, expandable to 2,147,483,646^3. Currently 5000^3 is used. So, 2,147,483,646^3 / 5000^3 = ...? By the way, don't forget, 10% of new planets are destroyed.

Players are rotating. New players start playing, old players leave (and some of them come back). It is a very good thing. It's easier for new players to start. Some players think, the game will die if they leave. It's not true. Just it's too late. It's not possible to stop the game.
