I just started up and just about to enter "The Real World" Thought id drop by and say hello to all the fellow gamers here Ive read through the starting guides, but if anyone has some Extra Info on my starting steps id welcome the advice

Scrap his idea, Don't join GoH. Find a DECENT Clan to join that will care and bank for you. Hopes just made a updated handbook which I would urge you to read. Capture whatever nearbys you get in real arena, and expand as fast as possible! You have 7 days immunity meaning for 7 days you cannot accept planets or ships, but no-one can attack your planets but you can attack them.

Arkania. Look around before deciding, and yes, read the guide it does really help.
As for clan joining, just look and listen to the forums on how the clans react and behave. You'll see one eventually that you'll like that have people you get along with, theres no need to DIVE in straight away.

Hints....hmm....Okay...

1) Expand as fast as you can within your first 7 days.
2) Don't have planet chains... (by which i mean the first detects the 2nd, the 2nd detects the 3rd...all the way along. Obliterate a few.)
Check the co-ords in the planet screen to see if you have any.

Finally, and most importantly...

3) Have fun.
