mmh maybe it works like showview, every show has its own pin code signal and some are banned =cant pass the v - chip

That sounds most likely, and they have a back up show for each time this type of signal is sent out.

the v-chip works by a special signal that is put in with every show labeling it TV-Y to TV-MA
